2nd Annual NDHHS Community Resource Fair. NDHHS and Relay NH logos
Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services will host our 2nd Annual Resources Fair!
This is a great opportunity for local organizations and agencies to share their services with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community as well as network with other service providers. Last year's event was a wonderful success. We hope you will join us once again. 

*Exhibiting organizations/agencies to be announced.*

Where: NDHHS Office at 56 Old Suncook Rd Ste 6 in Concord, NH
Cost: Free!
Exhibitors: Please contact Lindsey Phelan at relaynh@ndhhs.org to register for an exhibitor table. We are kindly asking for a $25 donation per table to aid in the cost to run the fair.

Fundraiser Event at Orange Leaf in Concord

Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services is teaming up with Orange Leaf for a fundraising event. Head to Orange Leaf in Concord between 5-9 pm on Thursday, September 14th and let them know you are there to support NDHHS. 20% of the sales will be donated to our organization. This is a great chance to socialize, enjoy a great snack and support NDHHS!

NDHHS hosts monthly group meetings that consist of socializing and informational workshops. While the group is focused towards Deaf Senior Citizens, all are welcome to join!

Presentations and discussions are typically in ASL. 
(Some presentations are interpreted if the speaker uses English.)

Please see the Education Initiative's For Educational Interpreters page for more information about the EIPA in general or for information about how to register for one of the tests.

When: 3/25, 6/24, 9/23 and 11/18
Place: NDHHS Office in Concord, NH
Available Time Slots: Contact for Availability
Cost: $335 before June 30, 2017. After June 30, the cost of the test increases to $350. 
(This is an increase instituted by Boys Town.)

**Successful completion of the EIPA is required to work as an Educational Interpreter in NH schools.***

INTERPRETER ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION

New Hampshire interpreters at Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Inc. in
Concord NH. This roundtable dialogue will discuss about variety topics ranging from
EIPA, the needs for professional development/workshops, current issues in the
community.

New Hampshire Hard of Hearing Group

The New Hampshire Hard of Hearing Group is an informational and social event occurring bi-monthly and is directed towards the hard of hearing, oral–deaf, and the late–deafened adult. Those who utilize hearing aids, cochlear implants, or have difficulty hearing are welcome.
 
Group Meetings typically revolve around occasional guest speakers, theme based discussions about advocacy, captioned telephones, accessible technology, etc., and includes social gatherings/outings. Communication Access/CART is provided as needed.
