NDHHS hosts monthly group meetings that consist of socializing and informational workshops. While the group is focused towards Deaf Senior Citizens, all are welcome to join!

Presentations and discussions are typically in ASL. 
(Some presentations are interpreted if the speaker uses English.)

WHEN: Saturday, August 12th, 2017 
TIME: 1 p.m.
WHERE: Wildwood Shores Beach located at 322 Shore Drive, Laconia, NH 03246
WHAT: A social gathering on Lake Winnisquam
• Feel free to bring your beach and/or lounge chairs, rubber ducky, SUP boards, kayaks or canoes, etc. 
• There will be a beach house on the premises so you can change clothes and go to the bathroom if needed.
• Free parking! 
• Also, please bring your own food, drinks, and utensils. 
• Rick will provide a charcoal grill and picnic table.

The New Hampshire Hard of Hearing Group is an informational and social event occurring bi-monthly and is directed towards the hard of hearing, oral–deaf, and the late–deafened adult. Those who utilize hearing aids, cochlear implants, or have difficulty hearing are welcome.
Group Meetings typically revolve around occasional guest speakers, theme based discussions about advocacy, captioned telephones, accessible technology, etc., and includes social gatherings/outings. Communication Access/CART is provided as needed.

Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment
Please see the Education Initiative's For Educational Interpreters page for more information about the EIPA in general or for information about how to register for one of the tests.

When: 3/25, 6/24, 9/23 and 11/18
Place: NDHHS Office in Concord, NH
Available Time Slots: Contact for Availability
Cost: $335 before June 30, 2017. After June 30, the cost of the test increases to $350. 
(This is an increase instituted by Boys Town.)

**Successful completion of the EIPA is required to work as an Educational Interpreter in NH schools.***



2nd Annual NDHHS Community Resource Fair. NDHHS and Relay NH logos
Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services will host our 2nd Annual Resources Fair!
This is a great opportunity for local organizations and agencies to share their services with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community as well as network with other service providers. Last year's event was a wonderful success. We hope you will join us once again. 

*Exhibiting organizations/agencies to be announced.*

When: September 14th, 2017
Time: 1:00 - 3:30pm
Where: NDHHS Office at 56 Old Suncook Rd Ste 6 in Concord, NH
Cost: Free!
Exhibitors: Please contact Lindsey Phelan at relaynh@ndhhs.org to register for an exhibitor table. We are kindly asking for a $25 donation per table to aid in the cost to run the fair.
