NDHHS Board of Directors
The
governing board of NDHHS consists of nine to eleven members. Fifty-one
percent must be Deaf or Hard of Hearing. The primary duties of the
board are to supervise the Executive Director, develop policies for the
agency, oversee the agency's finances, and to raise funds.
Meetings are held every third months. Between meetings, members are
expected to be on committees and to actively fundraise. The average
commitment is about four hours per month.
